Hopper is a gentle 8-10-year-old tri-pod whose body has worked overtime for many years. He has a torn ACL in his remaining back leg that can't be repaired, is beginning to lose his hearing, and has a sensitive stomach that needs extra care. While he has limitations, he is otherwise healthy and full of love. He can't do long walks, stairs, or jump into a car - he'll need help and gentle handling. What he can do is love deeply and quietly. Hopper wants nothing more than to curl up beside his person, follow them softly, and finally feel safe and cherished. We're looking for a sunset foster or adopter who can offer Hopper comfort, patience, and a soft place to land. He doesn't need fixing - just loving.
