About Foxy Roxy
Foxy Roxy is getting a top-notch start by participating in the 12-week Puppies 4 Parole program, where she is sharpening her manners and social skills. She’ll be ready for adoption when she graduates around August 15th. Foxy Roxy is a medium-sized, 2-year-old Dachshund and Terrier mix who brings a burst of energy to her foster home in St. Louis, MO. At about 38 pounds, she turns every greeting into a happy occasion, tail and hips alike wagging for everyone—including the mail carrier. She chases squeaky toys and balls with gusto, loves zooming around the yard, and settles down for snuggles and belly rubs with her foster family. Foxy Roxy is house trained, sleeps quietly in her crate through the night, and enjoys car rides. She’s learning to heel and already responds well to basic commands. Due to her enthusiasm, she'd do best in a home with older kids and requires a yard with a 4-foot fence to keep her safe during play. Foxy Roxy is spayed, has up-to-date vaccinations, and is heartworm negative. She will not be a fit for homes with cats but does get along with other dogs. Foxy Roxy’s former owner could no longer care for her, so she’s looking for a new, loving home ready to match her energy and affection. Applicants must live within an hour of St. Louis, MO.
