About Benny Black Lab

Benny is a lean, athletic Lab/Shepherd mix brimming with personality and energy. At around a year and a half old, he's in that perfect young-adult stage—playful but settling into his routines. Benny spends his days following his people around the house, napping in any available spot, and filling his free time trying to catch every squirrel or rabbit he spots. He’s fast, both on walks and when dashing in the yard, so he’ll thrive in a home with a big, securely fenced yard to keep his legs moving and his mind engaged. He’s tall at about 85–90 lbs, crate and housetrained, and likes being close—he even sleeps in his foster’s bedroom. Benny loves socks, shoes, treats, and a rousing game of fetch, though he’ll turn it into keep-away when the mood strikes him. He gets excited and might jump up, but practices his sit and wait, and responds well to treat motivation. Benny is outgoing and social, good with neighbor dogs, and friendly with new faces. He’ll do best with a patient adopter ready to keep up with his energy and help him polish his manners further. He is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to move in. Benny is currently in Watertown, WI. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
