About Cosmo

What's 100 pounds and covered in polka dots? Cosmo is! This 8 year old Dalmation is GREATLY overweight and working on her summer body. She was turned in to a shelter about 40 lbs overweight, unspayed, and heartworm positive. Our rescue and her foster are working on getting her slimmed down so she can get the vetting she needs to be a happy and healthy girl for the rest of her life! Once Cosmo is vetted, she will be available for adoption!

About Dalmatian Dogs

Dalmatians are striking, athletic dogs instantly recognizable by their unique spotted coats. These energetic, outgoing dogs were originally coach dogs that ran alongside horse-drawn carriages, and they've retained their incredible stamina and love of running. Dalmatians are dignified, smart, and full of personality.

When you adopt a Dalmatian, you're gaining a loyal, active companion who loves to run and play. They're wonderful with older children and thrive in homes where they can get plenty of exercise. Their playful, clownish side makes them entertaining family members who keep life interesting.
