About Fern
Fern doesn't just have a wiggle butt—she has a whole body wag, especially when food or toys are involved. She may look all business in her photo, but at heart, she's a bashful, golden and cream Boxer mix, about six months old with a full tail doing most of the talking. Fern is just starting out and needs someone patient who will help her build confidence through a steady routine and gentle training. She’s still learning the leash and will need a physically fenced yard, especially if you don’t have a lot of leash experience or live somewhere with lots of distractions. Fern isn’t house trained yet, but with structure she’ll pick it up. She’s likely to do well with respectful kids ages 8 and up, and could match with a resident dog after a proper meet and greet. For cats, slow introductions are key, but she's adaptable. While she starts shy, Fern has easygoing energy, a gentle soul, and a lot of untapped potential just waiting for someone to bring it out.
