This absolutely adorable, super sweet, social butterfly of a pup is Rue! She came into rescue as a baby when people brought her home to their apartment and were promptly reminded of the no dogs policy at the apartment building. Sadly, their solution was just walking her into the courtyard and abandoning her. Fortunately another resident swiftly looked out for her and reached out for help to ensure she was safe and had a chance to find a truly wonderful home. A fantastic foster home was happy to welcome this girl into their home, and she settled in immediately and began having all of her medical work done! She’s now 20 weeks old and all medical is done! She’s current on vaccines, deworming, microchipping, preventative, and she’s now spayed. She’s a happy, healthy, thriving baby girl who can’t wait to start her new life! As soon as she went into foster care she became fast friends with every person she met, and fell in love with other dogs! She’s an absolute social butterfly and has had the incredible benefit of being raised in a foster home where she has received superior socialization and life experience. She’s fantastic at the dog park and will gladly attend doggy daycare! She’s great in play groups, and would love a home where she has another friendly active pup to run and play with! That said, she is a confident, wonderful girl who will be just fine as an only dog as well- but would definitely benefit from play dates! She’s a country girl and loves to play outside, go hiking, she loves the water, and has a very well rounded, nature loving personality. She also is fantastic in the car and so well adjusted that she does fine on just about any new experience you’d want her to accompany you on. She loves meeting new people and is very intelligent, and always eager to please! She reliably goes potty outside and picks up training very quickly. One of her best qualities is that she’s just so loving! Not only does she have great recall and enjoy being with you on outdoor adventures, but even more, she loves a chance to snuggle! She will curl up with you on the sofa and soak up as much love and affection as she can. She loves kisses and is happy to greet everyone she meets with a wagging tail! She’s great on leash, loves her toys, and is an all around fabulous companion pup!
