THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN A FOSTER HOME WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE OF OUR KENNEL IN WOBURN, MA. ONCE A POTENTIAL ADOPTER IS MATCHED WITH A DOG AND GOES THROUGH OUR REFERENCE AND INTERVIEW PROCESS WITH AN ADOPTION COORDINATOR THIS DOG WOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO MEET BEFORE ADOPTION. IT IS OUR GOAL TO GET ALL LOCAL DOGS TO THEIR FOREVER FAMILIES WITHIN 7 DAYS ONCE MATCHED. **Please read Scotch Spirits' entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Scotch Spirits, a 10-week-old (as of 2/21) Carolina Dog/Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing 20 pounds (as of 2/12/26)! Scotch comes from the SPIRITS litter who were surrendered by their owner in Tennessee after being born (though Momma is staying with the owner!) This little guy is excited to make his way to New England to teach you a little thing about spirits. You know those days where work is long and you come home with nothing to look forward to aside from the sad leftovers you made yesterday? Well those days are over! Scotch will instantly make your days better with his sweet and affectionate nature! This friendly puppy will keep you guessing and smiling all day long! Bonus points: He's great with other dogs and loves kids so he'll be happy to distract them while you take a breather. He knows you deserve it! Both momma and dad are very nice mellow medium to large breed dogs, so you can expect Scotch to be the perfect size for cuddles! Scotch is ready to learn about the human world and hopes his future family has patience as he masters puppy classes (potty, leashes, and crates) and obedience training but once he does, you can bet Scotch will rise to the top shelf! Who needs Happy Hour when you've got happiness at home? Adopt Scotch Spirits today! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Scotch Spirits, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $575] ** PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
