Meet Marisol 2–3 years old | 12 lbs | In foster in New Jersey Marisol is a small pup with a big heart who’s ready for her second chance. She was rescued by The Sato Project from a devastating hoarding case in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where she lived in a home with over 30 dogs. Life was hard, but Marisol is finally safe — and on her way to something better. She is now healthy and living in a great foster home in New Jersey, where she hopes to find the loving family she’s never had. Because of her past, Marisol is very shy and cautious at first, and can show signs of anxiety before she's had a chance to build trust with a new human. But she is full of quiet resilience. With patience and compassion, she’ll begin to show her sweet, gentle nature. Marisol would thrive in a quiet, calm, dog-savvy home that allows her to settle in at her own pace and offers the stability she needs to flourish.
