This little nugget is about 1 year old and is roughly 6.25 pounds—a charming Yorkie mix! He’s almost fully grown but still has a bit of weight to gain. He’s heartworm negative (thank goodness!), will be neutered, and will be microchipped when he finds his forever family! 🎉 Now, let’s be real—Durian is a sweetheart but he’s had a rough start and is still learning the ropes of house manners. He’s a snuggle bug who adores curling up in laps, so get ready for some serious cuddle sessions! 😍 He was a bit shy at first, but once he realized humans can be the best things ever, he won hearts in no time! However, he’s also a work in progress. He’s hesitant around new dogs due to his past, so he’ll need some time and patience to feel secure and happy in new settings. As for kids, while we haven't tested him with them, we think he'd do just fine, provided that they remember he’s not a toy! 🎈 When it comes to potty training, Durian is still figuring it all out. He came from a situation where there were no options for going outside, so he’ll need dedicated training from his new family. This little guy is slowly but surely getting the hang of it. If you’re not ready to invest time and love into his training, he may not be the right fit for you. 🐾 Now about his eating habits: Durian devours his meals like they might be his last! We suggest feeding him in his crate so he can enjoy his food without any anxiety. After all, every little guy deserves a relaxing dinner! 🍽️ Durian has medium energy and loves to follow his human around, waiting for his next chance to snuggle.
