Maggie came to WCHS as a surrender. Her previous owners had moved, and her next potential owner decided not to take her. Her caretaker noted that she has a food guarding issue, and that she tends to try and be the "big dog" with other female dogs. She is recommended to be in a crate when her owners won't be home as she tends to dig in the trash. She would do best in a home with older children or no children, as young children tend to startle her. If there are other dogs in the home, we would like a meet and greet with any potential adoptions. She knows some basic basic commands, and her caretaker stated that she is housebroken as well! Maggie is listed as a "mini" Aussie and is in need of a weightless journey! She is in need of love as she is friendly and eager to please.
