About Georgina
Meet Georgina, the calico girly! Georgina came to the Shelter after her previous guardian was unable to continue caring for her. She was indoors only in her previous home and has lived with other cats and dogs who she got along with. Georgina has also been around other kids as well and did well. Although initially reserved, Georgina has started blossoming and showing off her fairly impressive biscuit making skills. We anticipate that she will continue to show her true colors as she transitions to an adoptive home. Georgina could go to an adoptive home with some of his feline friends or could acclimate to a home with new animal friends (provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction). Georgina does have some signs of severe overgrooming or hair loss. Adopters should plan on keeping up with her flea preventative and, if her over-grooming does not improve, consult with their veterinarian after adoption. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
