Meet Hilda This tiny two-year-old English bulldog has already endured more than any dog ever should. When Hilda first came to us, she was coated in human urine and clearly neglected. We feared the worst when we saw her little front leg and rushed her to the vet, terrified it was broken. Thankfully, X-rays showed it isn't broken - but her left front leg is permanently deformed. It was likely caused by a growth plate injury when she was developing, or possibly from being confined to a crate for long periods without proper care. Despite everything she's been through, Hilda has the gentlest, most forgiving heart. She has truly come full circle and is now ready to start the beautiful life she always deserved. Hilda is calm, easygoing, and absolutely adores affection. She melts into you for pets and just wants to be loved.
