Meet Rhett: The Husky Opera Star ​Age: 5 Years | Vibe: Main Character Energy ​Rhett is a classic, handsome Husky who comes with a built-in megaphone. He arrived with his best bud, Archie! If you’ve ever wondered what a dog thinks about the current state of the economy, the weather, or the fact that you haven't given him a treat in the last four minutes, Rhett will tell you. Loudly. ​Talents: Serenading the neighborhood with the "Song of His People." ​Direct Quotes: * "Ooooowooooohhhh" (Translation: "Adopt me, I’m gorgeous.") ​"Ooooohhooowwwhhh" (Translation: "I require a heated blanket and your finest cheese.") ​Personality: Full of sass, energy, and enough opinions to fill a podcast. ​Both boys are extremely treat-motivated, which is good because, currently, they have the "listening skills" of a pair of decorative garden gnomes. ​We are working on basics like Sit, Off, and Down. Right now, when we give a command, they look at us like we’re reciting ancient alien poetry. The "Must-Haves" ​The Great Escape: Both pups require a securely fenced yard. If left to their own devices, they will pull a "Prison Break" to go introduce themselves to the entire zip code. ​No "Small Snacks": Absolutely no small animals or livestock. They have high prey drives and should be the only non-human species in the home. ​Dog Friends: They currently love playing along the fence line with other shelter residents—butts up, tails wagging!
