(Yes, like one of the seven dwarves... and she absolutely lives up to her name.) This little girl should be called Lucky, Brave, or Miracle — because that’s what she is. Happy and her siblings were found living in the woods with their mama (a 50lb blue heeler) during the coldest stretch of winter. We’re talking temperatures dropping into the teens. It’s honestly a wonder they survived. Their sweet mama was doing everything she could to keep them safe and fed. On a freezing night when the temps were about to plummet again, our volunteers secured the whole family and changed their future forever. Now Happy is just over 2 months old, safe, warm, well-fed, and exactly what her name promises — happy-go-lucky, playful, and full of puppy joy. She loves romping with her siblings, getting into harmless mischief, and then crashing into the cutest little puppy nap you’ve ever seen. And aren't her freckles adorable?? Happy will be spayed mid-March and will be ready to travel to her forever home after that. Let’s be real — puppies are WORK. They aren’t born housebroken, they chew things, they wake up early, and they require patience and consistency. But the time, effort, and love you pour into them? It comes back tenfold. VETTING: All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
