She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her loving personality truly shines. True to her name, Kisses absolutely adores giving affectionate smooches to her favorite people. She forms close bonds and isn’t shy about showing her love once you’re in her circle. Whether it’s playtime with her favorite toys, cozy cuddle sessions on the couch, or simply spending quality people time, Kisses is happiest when she’s near those she trusts. All she needs is a little patience at the beginning. In return, you’ll get a loyal, playful, and wonderfully affectionate companion who will cover you in love and kisses. COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Kisses has the potential to get along with other dogs Kisses would do best in a home without cats. MEDICAL NEEDS: Kisses has tested positive for heartworm and is currently receiving treatment. Her treatment includes a course of oral antibiotics and a series of injections, all provided and covered by MARL. We’re hoping Kisses can enter a foster-to-adopt home during this time, with all treatments scheduled through our vet at MARL. Once her treatment is complete, we can finalize her adoption.
