Lennon is a young, medium-sized black Labrador Retriever mix currently in Jamestown, ND. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Lennon isn’t yet house trained but is making solid progress with care and encouragement. He gets along well with other dogs and, though still gaining weight, is much healthier now than when first rescued.

About Lennon

Lennon, often called Lenny by those caring for him, arrived after a long stretch of neglect with several other dogs. JRHS welcomed both Lennon and, likely, his mother, Milena, and both were quite underweight at first. Over time, Lennon has slowly gotten more comfortable and made good progress in regaining his health. He still needs to gain a bit more weight but is worlds away from his original condition. Lennon is about a year old and his playful side has come out as he’s settled in. He is highly food- and treat-motivated, which makes training much easier. He isn’t house trained yet, and Lennon will need a patient adopter who can help him keep learning and adjusting to home life. He gets along with other dogs as well. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
