Luke Skybarker has been at ACSKC for 494 days, and we would like to formally state that we do not understand why. This 3-year-old, big-block-headed Jedi is everything you could possibly want in a companion. He’s sweet. He’s goofy. He’s loyal. He has the kind of face that looks like it was specifically designed to be kissed repeatedly. Like his namesake, Luke Skybarker is brave, hopeful, and deeply devoted to his people. His favorite activities include zooming at hyperspeed around the yard, accepting belly rubs as his birthright, and hanging out with staff in the lobby like the local mayor. He’s dog-friendly and would do best with a female canine companion who can appreciate his enthusiastic play style. He’s also great with kids, though his zoomies are powerful and may register on nearby satellites. Luke may bark when he first meets new people, but give him a little time and he will immediately decide you are his entire universe. 494 days is far too long for a dog this perfect to be overlooked. At this point, we can only assume there has been some kind of clerical error.
