When Jeannie first waddled her way to rescue’s doorstep, she was… how do we put this gently… a very fluffy cloud. A cloud with legs that weren’t entirely convinced about the whole “walking” thing. But beneath all that extra fluff was a heart of pure gold and a spirit ready to shine. Fast forward a few months — after a carefully monitored diet, a reasonable exercise program, and more cheering than a Steelers playoff game — Jeannie has shed almost 30 pounds. (YAY JEANNIE! 🎉) She is officially lighter, brighter, and ready to strut her stuff into a loving forever home. Jeannie is 4 years old, up to date on all her shots, microchipped, and spayed. She’s sweet-natured, gentle, and has perfected the art of being everyone’s friend. Dogs? Yes. Cats? Absolutely. Kids? She thinks they’re delightful little snack-dropping machines. Her personality is a blend of soft-hearted sweetness and quiet humor — the kind of girl who will follow you around the house like your fluffy shadow, flop down dramatically for belly rubs, and give you that “I’m adorable, and I know it” look whenever treats are involved. Jeannie is looking for a home in the Pittsburgh area with a secure fence, where she can continue her healthy journey, enjoy the fresh air, and maybe show off her new-and-improved wiggle walk.
