Rupert is the sweetest little old gentleman, simply searching for a forever lap to call his own. He was found recently as a stray and, heartbreakingly, no one came looking for him. That's the part we can't quite wrap our heads around. Rupert was clearly loved at some point, and for many years. A tiny senior who can't see or hear very well does not just wander miles from home. It doesn't add up. What we do know is this: Rupert deserves the softest landing imaginable. No senior dog should spend their golden years in a loud, overwhelming shelter. So we are determined to find him the very best retirement home, the kind with warm blankets, gentle hands, and a lap that is always available. Rupert has the sweetest, most easygoing personality. He isn't bothered by new friends. He isn't asking for much. He just wants to be held and reminded that he's safe. Despite his limited vision and the usual signs of aging, Rupert is in great health. He may not be the youngest pup on the block, but he has a lifetime of love stored up, ready to give to someone very special.
