Danny is an exceptionally gentle, non-aggressive boy who absolutely melts under kind hands. He thoroughly enjoys pets, attention, and being near his people. If you’re looking for a cat who will happily soak up affection and reward you with quiet companionship, Danny is your guy. In his previous home, Danny was unfortunately bullied by the other cats. Because of that, he’s looking for a calmer environment where he can finally feel safe and secure. While he might do okay with another very mellow, non-dominant cat, he would truly shine as an only pet where he doesn’t have to compete for space or affection. He has not been around dogs. He would not do well with small children, but should be just fine with respectful, school-age kids who understand gentle handling. Because the other cats were so mean to him, he spent a lot of time outside. Not by choice, but because it was the only place where no one was beating up on him. He has adjusted quickly to living indoors and would likely be okay as an indoor only cat. However, if you had a super safe yard or catio where he could go out and get some fresh air he would love it. What Danny needs most is a home filled with love — a peaceful place where he can stretch out, relax, and simply be cherished.
