About Papi
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Papi came to Animal Care & Protective Services with his buddy Cyrus when their owner was deported, and it's clear he was well-loved. Now that Cyrus has found a family, Papi is hoping for his own home, as he’s feeling a bit lonely and stressed in the shelter environment. He is a sturdy, soulful boy who adores toys and a friendly game of tug, as well as adventures outside. Treats—especially bacon-flavored—are his favorite motivation for sitting on command! Papi has previously lived with children, but he will thrive best with a strong, confident owner who can guide him kindly on a harness and help him work on his leash manners. With patience and time to decompress, Papi is sure to be a loving addition to the right family. Ready to open your heart to this extra-large sweetheart? He’s waiting to meet you! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
