They had belonged to a breeder and were given away to someone who couldn't care for them. Surprise...Emmie was very pregnant when they arrived! They are both AKC registered toy poodles. AND Emmie is a Phantom poodle, a very rare coloration as a result of a genetic anomaly.Phantoms are VERY rare, hence her adoption fee is larger than normal. Her registered name is Ebony Grace Delight. She is colored like a Doberman, black and tan. And she's a little over 10 pounds. VERY sweet and submissive. She wants to cuddle all the time! Chili is smaller than Emmie and also very sweet - likes to sleep up against your head and snuggle his face in your neck. His coat is a pretty red; hence, his registered name Red Chili Pepper.
