Frida
AvailableFrida is a young, 7-month-old spayed female Domestic Short Hair with orange and white fur. She lives in Fort Worth, TX and is small in size, house trained, and up to date on vaccinations. Frida gets along well with other cats and would do best in a home with a feline companion.
About Frida
Frida is a soft orange and white kitten with a gentle, cautious soul. Life hasn't quite convinced her it's safe yet, and she needs a patient adopter willing to give her the slow, steady reassurance she craves. Frida's progress so far is subtle but lovely—she now curls up in her basket out in the open and doesn't bolt at every approach. When overwhelmed, she tucks her tail and curls up tight, but gentle petting helps her relax enough to start that deep, sweet purr. Her playful side comes alive chasing a laser pointer or wrestling with her buddy Nightshade. These moments let her forget she's shy, at least until she suddenly realizes she's near people and hits the reset button. She'll continue to need a friendly resident cat to show her how to feel comfortable and confident. Frida has had only brief, non-confrontational dog encounters, so very slow and careful introductions will be key if there’s a dog in her future. Frida won’t melt in your arms on day one—she’s looking for an adopter who values patience and enjoys watching a timid kitten slowly come out of her shell. For someone willing to earn her trust, she promises the reward of seeing a shy little cat transform into a loving, playful companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
