Kenya was abandoned when she was pregnant. She was a very protective mother. She gave birth to six puppies but lost four in the first 3 weeks due to declining puppy syndrome and failure to thrive. So she was especially protective over her two remaining girls. She takes a little while to get used to you but once You are her person she's very loyal. She is only 16 lb and loves to lay in bed with us. She needs to be taught boundaries, sometimes if she doesn't want to do something she will get a little pissy. She has been around other dogs but is also guarded with them. I do not recommend her with children that do not have nice touches.
