Age: 3 years Weight: 50 pounds Meet this beautiful girl, Big Mama, affectionately known as Molly! She's a quiet charmer who is sweet, calm, affectionate, playful, curious, attentive, and smart. She enjoys staying close to her people, often settling into her favorite spot on the sofa or chair. She's easy going and loves attention. She is house and crate trained and actually goes to the door to tells us when she wants to go out! While she rarely barks, Molly does like to let you know when she sees wildlife or a passerby and that she's not a fan of the vacuum cleaner. But with patient, consistent desensitization training, her confidence/nervousness will improve. On leash, Molly is strong and still working on her leash manners. She knows basic commands such as "sit" and recall training is a work in progress. But she is a very smart and willing to learn. She responds well to clear, consistent guidance, and while she's primarily praise motivated a good treat always helps! Molly has shown herself to be a happy girl who eagerly seeks out a connection and is happiest when she's close to her person, who she will stick to like Velcro. She would thrive in an environment where the family is home most of the time, where she can play, continue learning, and stay close to her people. Molly came to us from our rescue partner in Texas, along with her three puppies: McNugget, McDouble, and McMuffin. Adoption Fees: Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed. Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $50 for a 6 month supply of heartworm preventative.
