Maxx is house trained and has spent time in a home with children and other dogs. While he has no ongoing special needs, he benefits from easy-to-find supplements for his nails.
About Maxx
Maxx is between 11 and 13, and he landed in the rescue after being cast off when his former family worried about a new baby coming home. Despite the claim, it looks like Maxx already lived with kids—he simply found himself left behind. For years, Maxx went without much medical care and desperately needed a dental. Once rescued, he got treated for a urinary tract infection, had long-overdue dental work, and finally got some relief. With anti-inflammatories for his back legs, he now moves with less discomfort. He enjoys leaping onto the couch for naps or peering out the window. Neighborhood strolls are a highlight—he takes his sniffing sessions seriously. Nights are easy: Maxx sleeps soundly on his foster mom’s floor or the sofa. He’s housebroken unless a UTI pops up, and ongoing supplements help with brittle nails. Ear and neck rubs are a new favorite. Through it all, Maxx stays gentle, just looking for a soft home and someone who’ll return his loyalty. Maxx easily coexists with other dogs and seems indifferent around them. He’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Give this old soul a peaceful place to rest and he’ll offer his quiet companionship in return. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
