About Mr. Happy Gary
From My Heart ā Garyās Story Hi there, my name is Gary, but my friends also call me Boji. Iām a 2½-year-old Lab/Saluki mix ā 55 pounds of sweetness, soul, and quiet courage. I am neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready for adoption in Vancouver, BC and can travel to anywhere in WA or OR if there is a potential adopter for me. My adoption fee is $600USD. One day, I was found injured and unable to walk ā most likely hit by a car. It was a scary time, but I refused to give up, and thankfully, neither did my rescuers. After surgery and lots of care, something incredible happened ā I began to walk again! Each day I grow stronger and more confident, enjoying every step as I feel the ground beneath my paws once more. People say Iām one of the happiest dogs theyāve ever met. I wag my tail constantly, adore food (itās my favorite thing ever!), and have the gentlest heart. My mission in life is simple: to love you, to make you laugh, and to remind you what gratitude looks like. I get along beautifully with other dogs and have a calm, easygoing nature. Iāve never shown aggression ā only affection. I havenāt met cats or kids yet, but Iām such a gentle soul that, with slow introductions, Iād likely do just fine. Right now, I spend most of my time indoors while I continue to regain my strength, but I dream of open spaces, easy walks, car rides with the windows down, and cozy naps beside someone I love. I dream of belonging. If youāre looking for a loyal companion who has already learned how precious life and love truly are⦠Iām your boy. I donāt need perfection ā just kindness, patience, and someone who will cheer me on as I continue to get stronger every day. Iāve come such a long way, and now Iām ready for my next big step ā finding my forever home. Could that be with you? With love and hope, Gary (Boji)
