About Slade
Slade has a purr that seems way too big for his tiny meow, and it’s impossible not to smile when he starts rumbling for attention. He’s transformed from a wary stray found by the Hazelwood train tracks into a cat who pops out the moment you enter, eager for pets and affection. Slade is downright shameless when offered Churu and would probably put up with anything as long as there’s food involved. He craves head scratches, loves to be held, and isn’t shy about showing off his silly upside-down teeth when he flops over in pure contentment. Feather toys are another favorite—he’ll spring into action anytime one rattles nearby. He’s still revealing all his quirks, but it’s clear he lights up around other cats and would prefer a home with feline company. Slade is around 2 years old, neutered, and fully vetted—vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and negative for FIV/FeLV. He’s waiting at the Waterfront (Homestead) Petco Adoption Center in Pittsburgh, PA, ready to charm his way into the right home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
