Meet Benny - The Definition of Resilient 🐶 Benny's story didn't start out cozy. During the ice storms he was found chained to a post with no shelter, no food and no water. Despite everything he's been through, Benny has chosen love over fear - and it shows in everything he does. This sweet boy is one of the most social dogs you'll ever meet. He loves people, thrives on attention and greets everyone like an old friend. Benny has a gentle soul and a big heart, and all he wants now is what he's always deserved: a warm home, a soft place to rest and a family who will never leave him behind. Benny is proof that even after a rough start, a dog can still be full of joy, trust and love. He's ready to give his whole heart to someone special - could that be you? 🐶 All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, current on flea and tick treatments, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary exams. Dogs are heartworm negative and cats are combo tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible. Noah’s Arc is manned by volunteers, the shelter is not open to the public. Meet and greets for the animals are by appointment only.
