I am Lila, short for `Apelila (“April” in Hawaiian), and I am a 2 year old bundle of love. I came to the KAWS Sanctuary from the local shelter where I was having a hard time with my unbridled energy. During my time at the sanctuary, I have played a lot of fetch, and go on jogs- sometimes 3 miles a day. Consistent exercise and structured handling have helped me to calm down and enjoy my surroundings. While I am still quite headstrong, I aim to please. I would do best in a home with no other pets, and humans who can commit to exercising me every day. I’m a pitbull/hound mix and am always up for an adventure!
