She adores cuddles, is learning puppy manners, and is working hard on potty training. She enjoys being outside and is learning to walk on a leash. Like any puppy, she will need patience, consistency, and lots of love - but in return, you will get a loyal best friend for life. She is interested but a little afraid of the resident cats. She enjoys trying to engage the resident dog and is learning to take cues when her playfulness annoys him. She can entertain herself with toys and enjoys a Kong filled with peanut butter. A maze feeder helps slow this food-loving girl down at mealtime. She sleeps in her crate overnight only making a little noise in the beginning. Betsy loves people and eagerly invites people to say hello. HISTORY Betsy and her sister, Lollipop, came to IAR through a local shelter. HEALTH Betsy has received her initial puppy vaccines and will be microchipped soon. She will be spayed when age appropriate. PHYSICAL Betsy has a beautiful, shiny black, wavy coat with patches of white and a sweet expression. Her adult weight when she finishes growing is estimated to be 50-60 lbs.
