Brisket (23lbs - DOB 1/2024) is the perfect namesake for this sweet girl. She is slow to warm up, but when she's ready... oh my goodness is she the most perfect and delicious companion. If the thought of a Velcro dog who wants to live inside your skin doesn't sound appealing... then keep looking because Brisket wants to be YOUR favorite thing. Brisket is the perfect dog for an adventurer that wants to have a dog they can take everywhere. Gotta run errands? She's the perfect car companion. Brunch with the girls? She lives for table scraps and will sit patiently next to you. Need a running buddy? She will keep your pace and then some. At home, she's crate trained to perfection and can chill in her space with a Kong and YouTube dog TV while you go to work and make that $$$ for all the vacations and adventures you'll go on together. Lazy Sunday? Don't tempt her with a good time! As long as she can lay next to you, she's a happy girl. She is high energy but knows when to settle, very food motivated, smart and eager to please. With proper introductions, she's very dog friendly and has made quick playmates of my own dog, temporary fosters and all the dogs in the building. She loves crinkly and squeaky toys, burrowing in warm blankets and being with her person. Throw in some chin scratches and she's in heaven. Adoption fee for this dog includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.
