2/18/26 – Mr. Pickles, 5 years old, came from MDAS at the end of last month. They couldn’t neuter him there because he developed kennel cough at the shelter. Today, after treatment and spending a week with our vet, he’s finally feeling better. One of our volunteers took him out for some fresh air. Pickles is an amazingly calm Dobie. He even smiles (no photos of that yet), and he’s very loving. He also gets along great with other dogs.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral).
