About Kobuk
Kobuk had a rough start, spending his first months in an abandoned house with no heat, water, or steady food. Since being rescued in January, he’s settled into foster care in Anchorage. He’s a young, neutered male with long hair, and he’s discovering what it means to feel safe around people. Kobuk is naturally shy—gentle, patient handling is the way to his heart. Once he builds trust, he leans in for pets and purrs, especially if you’ve got treats. He loves being brushed and responds best to calm encouragement. Kobuk enjoys the company of friendly dogs and has started playing with the other cats in his foster home. If you have experience with shy cats and want to help a kitten come out of his shell, Kobuk could become a deeply loyal companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
