Belle is a 4 1/2 year old spayed, long haired Akita. She was born November, 2022. -She is super goofy, playful and affectionate. -Her favorite thing is being told what a good girl she is, she does best with positive reinforcement. -She loves being pet and played with. -She tolerates brushing, baths, nail trims, and teeth brushing. We have always done this ourselves. -Belle is good with our child, who has been 1-6 while she has been growing. -She likes to come inside but overall prefers to be outside, so long as the weather allows. -She sleeps through the night without asking to go out. -she is potty trained but prefers her own outdoor space or kennel if she is with other dogs. -She barks but calms down quickly upon introduction to people. -She sits and lays down, especially for a treat. -Belle loves playing with her equal size brother, she has had an incident (no injuries) with her sassy corgi brother. -I have never had her around female dogs. -she does fine in the car, but she must remain leashed or she will run. -she would do best somewhere that she could run more.
