lieutenant was very cautious when I opened his kennel. it took a lot of convincing, but he eventually let me put the collar on. when I did, I still had to per sway him into walking down the aisle and going through doors, but when we made it outside, he started to unstiffen and his tail wagged more. once he got inside of the yard his demeanor changed entirely, and though he was unsure of lil foot at first, they both got accustomed to each other and were able to coexist. whenever one of them got attention the other would follow. and despite lieutenant not wanting to play fetch, he still loved to run around. after a while i decided to take lil foot out and replaced him with soldier. they got along but there were moments where lieutenant seemed to try and be dominant. i decided to put him up and he was just as cautious to walk back into g as he was to get out.
