Sweet, high energy hound mix looking for his forever home! Maverick is still a puppy with LOTS of puppy energy, but now is the time to socialize him into the bestest boy! He previously lived with the full age range of kiddos from toddlers to teenagers, whom he loved; plus other pups! Maverick needs more focused attention than his previous owner knew they could provide with their busy household. They say he's housetrained and crate trained, so that's a win! You can visit this silly boy on our Dog Adoption Floor any time we're open! Maverick was recently in a short-term foster and this is what his foster mom had to say about him: "Maverick has not had any accidents in house [since fostering] and I would feel confident to say he is fully housebroken. He has done fantastic with kids and other dogs. He has done great with sleeping in a crate. He LOVES treats and belly rubs....... like it's never enough. He has done great coming when called (good recall!) and responds well and redirects from negative behavior by being told 'no.'" updated 02/03/26
