Powder Special Needs
AvailablePowder is a male Australian Shepherd, about 7 months old, and currently living in Princeton, MA. He’s a medium-sized, energetic dog who is already neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. Powder’s early training with hand signals shows how clever and adaptable he is. His social nature and enthusiasm for both people and dogs make him a great addition for an active and caring family.
About Powder Special Needs
Powder is a joyful and social Australian Shepherd puppy with a lot of personality—being deaf hasn't slowed him down one bit. After being surrendered at a shelter in Tennessee with his brother, Powder made his way to New England where he's blossomed in foster care. He's a high-energy pup who genuinely loves meeting new people, revels in his morning walks, and delights in playtime with other dogs. Toys are still irresistible, even if he can’t hear their squeaks. He sleeps soundly in his crate at night and is picking up hand signals quickly—he already knows sit, stay, crate, stop/no, and responds well to directional points. Powder’s bright and eager to learn, engaging energetically with people. Like many young pups, he can get jumpy and mouthy when excited, so he'll do best in a home with dog-savvy kids over seven. Powder would thrive with a friendly canine buddy, a fenced yard, and adopters committed to further positive reinforcement training. Though Powder experiences the world differently, his spirit and capacity for joy are as big as ever. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
