Buster is an approximately 8-year-old sweetheart who truly enjoys the simple things in life—lounging on the couch, soaking up affection, and going for a nice daily walk. He is very people-friendly and loves belly rubs and butt scratches. Buster is both crate trained and house trained, and he does an excellent job holding his bladder when needed. Buster is leash trained and walks best with someone who enjoys a brisk pace. He is dog-sensitive and would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can be the center of attention. While Buster is affectionate and loving, he prefers a calm, low-key environment. He is best suited for a home without small children, as he can be uncomfortable if a child gets too close to his personal space. That said, he has successfully spent time around visiting children ages 4–8 when interactions were supervised and respectful of his boundaries. Buster is a truly sweet, loyal boy who would thrive in a quiet home with adults who understand his needs and can give him the relaxed, loving life he deserves.
