About Charlotte
Charlotte is a young, spirited Doberman mix who greets every day with an easy joy—you’d never guess she’s overcome so much already. She landed at the rescue as a stray with serious hip problems, muscle loss, and barely the ability to stand. Two major hip surgeries and months of rehab later, Charlotte has fought her way back. She now walks and runs comfortably, though taking stairs still requires some patience. Her foster says she’s a true sweetheart. Charlotte gets along with other dogs—especially smaller ones—and can be a bundle of enthusiasm when meeting new canine friends. She’s house and crate trained, responds to several commands like "fetch," "sit," and "leave it," and recently started enjoying hikes and outdoor playtime. Charlotte loves her toys, relishes attention from people, and adapts quickly to home routines. This resilient, affectionate girl is ready for a new home where she’ll get as much love as she gives.
