Hi, I’m Merle. I’m 2 years old, 55 lbs., and yes, I’m the handsome one with the sleek coat and one of a kind markings. As my freinds say, “He’s sure a handsome fella.” I try to stay humble, but she might be right! I’m incredibly sweet and love people and other dogs. I enjoy adventures, long walks, and sniffing everything along the way. I’m improving on leash, though I’m a strong boy and still learning. The good news is I’m kennel trained and house trained, because I am a true gentleman. I have lived with cats before and never hurt them, but a home without cats is probably the best fit as I do get a bit excited about them. Kids are unknown, though older, dog-savvy kids would likely be just fine. I'd love a home with someone who enjoys exploring the world and wants a loyal, curious best friend by their side.
