ENERGY LEVEL Medium – I am a dog that will do my best with moderate exercise and enjoy relaxing with you afterward. • Daily walks through the neighborhood will keep me happy and healthy! • While at the shelter I can be shy or nervous • New things are a little scary to me, but I all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay. SKILLS • I haven't shown I know any skills yet, but training and treats will help us bond. LEASH • I walk well on a leash. MISCELLANEOUS • Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks. • I have lived with other dogs in my last home. • I may do better with an experienced owner in caring for senior dogs. • It is recommended that I meet any canine companions living in the home prior to being adopted. • I have a history of escaping doors or fences. I will need supervision when outdoors. • I need a home WITHOUT livestock (including access to chickens). • I take treats gently. • The shelter is learning about my personality, but I've shown to me a gentle golden girl looking for a quiet home and a comfy bed.
