He expresses himself with gentle, cheerful chirps, enjoys being held, and is comfortable around dogs. He also loves high places and keeping an eye on everything. Ferdinand is independent and observant. He likes to take his time before joining in, but once he does, he’s incredibly affectionate. He’s a true lap cat who settles in slowly and purrs nonstop. He prefers calmer dogs and enjoys watching them from a cozy spot nearby. Together, they have playful bursts followed by long, peaceful naps side by side. Francis is focused and energetic during play, while Ferdinand is gentle and goofy. They’re both great with teens and older children who understand gentle handling, use the litter box well, and enjoy calm, respectful homes. Windows and soft blankets are definite favorites.
