About Sunshine
Sunshine is something of a character—his foster says he’s an expert at stealing the spotlight, whether he’s snacking on Churro treats or demanding attention right at arm’s reach. With his shiny black coat and short, kitten-y stature, you’d never guess he started life on the tough side, fending for himself in a feral colony. When Sunshine first came indoors, he was all hiss and nerves, ready to protest any approach, but things changed with time and comfort. Sharing his new world with a couple of social feline friends helped—a lot. He swapped out his hissing for deep, loud purrs that now greet whoever wakes up next to him. These days, Sunshine stakes out the prime nap spot: up next to his foster, rousing them for the morning with purrs and gentle pats. He’s learned to work the room, always drifting close enough to be petted or noticed, making it clear he likes the routine of affection and attention. Sunshine has made great strides, and though his early experiences linger in the background, he’s found that human company (and treats) agree with him. Sunshine is ready to be noticed—and loved—in his forever home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
