DOB - 6/19/2023 Cookie is the sweetest cat you could ever hope to meet. She was found outdoors, abandoned, but already spayed, so we know she had a home at one point. Sadly all attempts to find Cookie's former owners have failed, so she is looking for a new forever home. She is so very happy to be indoors again and she shows her gratitude in every way possible. She loves to be held and sit on your lap. She will make biscuits and purr whenever she has the chance to cuddle. She is very calm and laid back, but a little jumpy when there are loud sounds or a lot of people. Cookie is FIV+. This virus is not contagious in altered cats unless a deep bite wound occurs, so FIV+ cats are generally safe to be with non FIV+ cats in an indoor home so long as everyone gets along. While they are more vulnerable to certain health conditions, they often live full and normal lives.
