Saffron is a 3 month old, 15 lb male Terrier mixed breed. Saffron is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home. This little guy with the very alert ears is Saffron. He's a sweet boy, the biggest in his litter, and the only dark puppy (he takes after mom). These pups and their mom were found roaming around a neighborhood, and with mom being a very friendly and sweet girl, we were able to intake them. Saffron is in a foster home with several adult dogs and he does just fine. He enjoys sunbathing, playing with toys, and learning how to "dog" from the other pups. At his age, he is definitely still a work in progress with leash walking and potty training, but he is crate trained. This sweet guy is eager to learn and enjoys exploring the yard, so it's fair to say he would likely make a great hiking companion. And definitely a great couch buddy for those lazy nights just walking TV. Pups like Saffron are unfortunately something we see often, a little family of stray dogs, but these guys were lucky to still be with their sweet mom, who took care of them and sought help from people. Saffron is a cutie who yearns to be loved and be a part of someone's family - perhaps yours? (Note: Saffron is not yet neutered but will be prior to transport). Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada. Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $700 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) spay/neuter, microchip and transportation fees.
