About Rudy

Rudy has a real mix of independence and affection. He can be a cuddle bug when he trusts you but also likes having his own space and exploring—his nose is always on the move, checking out every corner with real curiosity. Give him a toy or snack and you’ll see his whole personality light up. Rudy is great at sharing his toys (he’ll drop them right in your lap, ready to play together) and likes other gentle, easy-going dogs with similar energy levels. He can get overstimulated and sometimes tries to mount the other dogs, but he listens well to handlers and takes corrections in stride. Rudy does best with respectful kids age 12 and up. He already knows “sit” and is working on “come” and “stay.” At his core, Rudy just wants a soft bed, a little fun, and a loving family to call his own. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. Cats and other small animals are still an unknown for him. Rudy is a senior with plenty of warmth and play left to share. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
