Meet Ray🩵: a 2.5 year old, 57 pound German Shepherd/Husky mix with a gentle soul and a calm, easygoing personality. Ray can be a little skittish at first, especially in new situations, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. With a little patience, his sweet and affectionate nature shines through. He is great with kids and other dogs and tends to be more laid back than his sister, making him a wonderful companion for a variety of households. Ray does prefer to go home without any cats. Ray came from a difficult past where he and his sister Lana were kept outside and severely neglected. Despite this, he remains loving, gentle, and full of potential. Ray is a quick learner who loves treats and responds well to consistent training. He would enjoy a big fenced in yard where he can run, explore, and enjoy the freedom he missed out on earlier in life. While he appreciates playtime, he is also happy to relax and enjoy quiet moments with his people.
