Cinco Mello is a resilient and affectionate cat whose story is a testament to strength and perseverance. After being hit by a car, she underwent extensive surgery to repair two broken legs. Despite the pain and challenges of recovery, she has remained remarkably sweet and gentle. This led to her re-christening as Bastet, the Egyptian goddess of the home. She gets along very well with other cats and loves playing chase with her foster sisters, followed by naps in high places. She sleeps with her foster mom every night, where she is so content that she makes biscuits and suckles her blanket! She has had a long road to recovery, but Bastet is finally ready to make someone an amazing companion and continue serving as an inspiration to everyone who meets her!
