Hank came to rescue after living outdoors in an Amish community and is now learning what life inside a loving home is all about. Safe in foster care, he’s slowly discovering new comforts and routines while he waits for a forever family to call his own. Hank is a gentle, shy boy who takes a little time to warm up to new people and environments, but once he feels safe, he loves to snuggle and stay close to his people. He enjoys playing with other dogs and gains confidence from their companionship. As he continues adjusting to indoor life, his curiosity grows and he enjoys exploring his surroundings and learning new routines. Hank is still working on potty training and leash confidence, and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence at his own pace. He is also learning basic commands like “sit” and continues to make progress each day as he settles into home life. Hank is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventatives, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.
